This week so far, I have been creating the light blueprints for around the spacecraft:







I have also been colour correcting the scene ready for the cinematic:



I have been optimising the lighting so that it is totally dynamic and has the least impact on performance as possible:


To make the red night-vision lights as realistic as possible, I used ray traced distance field shadows for this because it creates a soft penumbra casting away from the occluding objects, exactly like in real life:
